Description

Take a journey back in time at The Mariners’ Museum and Park this summer as you meet sailors, cooks, signalman’s mates, and others in the galleries! Hear intriguing tales of maritime adventures from 17th through 20th Century costumed historical interpreters who will be roaming the galleries on select dates from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Explore life on USS Monitor or CSS Virginia, join in singing songs of the American Civil War and sea shanties, and examine the world of an 18th century ship’s surgeon, just to name a few.
