Each year, thousands of people from all over our community either run or walk on the Noland Trail, make memories by the James River and Lions Bridge, find inspiration from the wildlife in the Mariners’ Park, and celebrate special events. This Park was created for you to have a place to be with nature and one another. The Mariners’ Park and Noland Trail were both established as gifts to the community. While many believe the Mariners’ Park is funded by the city, in reality, the majority of funding comes from private support. We are grateful that the spirit of generosity of the Huntington and Noland families continue to inspire acts of kindness from our donors.

This #GivingTuesday, November 29, 2022, we gather as a community to reach 1,000 donations of $10 to support the maintenance of the Noland Trail. With your help, we can ensure that the Trail receives the care it needs where hope, solace and refuge are found amongst the evergreens and wildlife. By planting seeds of inspiration, we can energize the next generation of Park stewards to enjoy and support this free community resource for years to come. Together, we can accomplish our goal, and so much more!
