Bring the kids to Newport News Park to help us celebrate the 31^st Annual Newport News Children’s Festival of Friends! This year’s event features your children’s favorite characters, including the Berenstain Bears, Rainbow Fish, Curious George, Paddington Bear, and Spiderman. Check out the Fun Bus, along with friendly animals from Jack’s Jungle and Barnyard on Wheels. Enjoy a live performance on the Arboretum Stage, as well as a live K-9 demo from the Newport News Police Department. The festival features more than 100 hands-on activities. Attractions include inflatables, make-and-take crafts, trackless train rides and more. All that activity can work up an appetite, so grab some food from vendors selling pizza, grilled cheese, shaved ice, funnel cakes, seafood, ice cream and more.
