Celebrate the bonds of companionship and service that are part of our special relationship with dogs. Meet dogs (and people) from the Tidewater Chapter of Pets for Vets, whose mission is to unite deserving veterans with specially trained dogs rescued from shelters. Members of the Newport News K-9 Unit will demonstrate how these highly trained dogs help keep our police officers and communities safe. You’ll also see demonstrations of obedience training, competitive agility and more!
