Description
One of the most respected and multi-faceted performers in the entertainment industry today, Vanessa Williams has not only sold millions of records worldwide, but she has also topped several Billboard charts during her illustrious 33 year career. Her albums have yielded such classic hits as “Save The Best For Last,” “Dreamin,” “Work To Do,” and “Love Is.” Her critically acclaimed work in film, television, recordings and the Broadway stage have been recognized by every major industry award affiliation including four Emmy nominations, 17 Grammy Award nominations (of which 11 were for her individually), a Tony nomination, 3 SAG award nominations, 7 NAACP Image Awards, 3 Satellite Awards, and ultimately a Golden Globe, Grammy and Oscar for her platinum single “Colors of the Wind,” from Disney’s “Pocahontas.” In 2007, Vanessa was also honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk-Of-Fame, in addition to scoring a New York Times bestseller in 2012 for her autobiography, You Have No Idea.
