Description

What is a paleontologist and why is the job so awesome? Spend a week as a paleontologist as you search for evidence of ancient creatures and compare the modern day inhabitants of the seas with those who swam there thousands of years ago. Along the way, we'll make our own fossil dig to excavate at home and our own bug preserved in amber. Participants will enjoy excavating a replica sea creature from the Cretaceous period and putting the pieces together to form a model to take home. We'll compare the modern day inhabitants of the seas with those who swam there thousands of years ago while enjoying films and many other exciting activities. Cost includes a t-shirt for each student. Lunch is not included. Call for camp topics, ages and additional information.
