During the Great Depression, thousands of destitute men set out across the country in search of jobs.  Hitching rides in boxcars, they lived a nomadic life, carrying their few possessions on their back in a bindle stick.  We'll explore how these often misunderstood persons, known as hobos, dealt with the difficulties of life on the rails.  Wear your worst train or hobo duds for the Best Dressed Hobo Contest; judging and prizes at 3 pm.  Other activities to include a hobo camp and grub, sing-along, crafts, language of the hobo, storytelling, games, photo ops and more.
