Coinciding with the grand opening of the Mary M. Torggler Fine Arts Center at CNU is its inaugural exhibition, called Night Light. Night Light brings together the work of five artists who use light and shadow to “take visitors from land to sky and back,” showing us “how plants grow and sway in the wind, how forests look under the surface, how birds swarm under threat, how jackals watch over their territory, how storms brew above mountain tops.” The grand opening at 1 p.m. will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony outside, followed by tours of the center’s interior.
