It's Time For Summertime
Summer has officially begun and in Newport News there's a ton of outdoor fun to be had, from fishing to sunbathing on the beach to dog parks. To celebrate, we are having a contest this week (June 21 - 27, 2021), with a chance to win a Summer Picnic Basket filled with goodies valued at $400! Entering is as simple as these two steps:

2. COMMENT on this post with your favorite outdoor summer activity and where to do it in Newport News. Maybe you like fishing? What's your favorite fishing pier? Do you like boating? Where do you like to set sail?
And that's all! Entries will be accepted through 11:59 pm on Sunday, June 27. Only one entry per person. Winner will be announced and contacted on Monday, June 28 and can redeem their prize at the Newport News Visitor Center, 13560 Jefferson Ave., at the entrance to Newport News Park.
