Ambassador Pass Month - When Locals Become Tourists in Newport News

It’s that time of year again! The Ambassador Pass, available for residents and city government employees, is back to cure that January cabin fever! Marked at over a $230 value, this pass will grant access for a family of four to seven Newport News attractions… for free!

Each week during the month of January, residents will be able to visit two pre-planned attractions and become “visitors” in their own city. Also, residents become “ambassadors,” spreading the word about all of the amazing sites Newport News has to offer.

The passes are available for pickup in three easily accessible locations. Proof of Newport News residency must be provided at the time of pickup. Driver’s licenses with a Newport News address and/or a utility bill statement are an acceptable means of identification. Passes are good for two adults (16 & older) and two children (15 & younger).
