The 2nd annual Virginia Brazilian Festival is coming to City Center at Oyster Point, Saturday, September 19th from 12 noon - 7 PM where we'll celebrate Brazilian arts, culture, music and cuisine!
Festival goers will have the opportunity to see Brazilian dance and drum performances, listen to live Brazilian music and learn to dance like a Samba pro in a dance workshop. Brazilian bands will take the stage with traditional instruments and rhythms.
This free event will also feature interactive workshops on Samba, Capoeira, and Brazilian drumming. Handcrafted gifts for purchase, face painting, and traditional Brazilian cuisine will also be available. Tucanos Brazilian Grill, also located in City Center, will have a sampling of Rio de Janeiro inspired favorites such as churrasco, feijoada, pastel, and coxinha.
