Denbigh Park Boat Ramp
Located in the Denbigh area of Newport News, this neighborhood park features hiking and jogging trails, a boat ramp and saltwater fishing.
Fairways at Newport News Golf Club at Deer Run
Newport News Golf Club at Deer Run offers two courses: the Deer Run Course, awarded a 4-star rating in Golf Digest's Best Places to Play, and the Cardinal Course, currently rated 3.5 stars. Clubhouse with dining facilities, driving range, putting greens, pro shop, and PGA pros. Cardinal Course - Yards: 6,645; Rating: 72.3 and Slope: 125 from back tees. Deer Run Course - Yards: 7,206; Rating: 74.4; and Slope: 132 from back tees. The 6,400 square-foot Pavilion can host up to 300 people. For smaller groups of up to 75 people, Anniebell's Restaurant is perfect.
Fido Field Dog Park
Located in Riverview Farm Park, Fido Field is a great place for you and your dog to socialize and exercise. Our goal is to provide a safe and well-maintained park for you and your dog to enjoy.
Located at the southeastern end of Newport News Park, in York County, Harwood's Mill is a 265-acre freshwater reservoir containing bass, pickerel and a variety of sunfish. Boat and motor rentals available weekends from Memorial Day through October. It is adjacent to hiking trails, picnic shelters, and a 5-mile mountain bike trail. Highland Court Park
This neighborhood park offers a playground and tennis.
