Celebration in Lights, Virginia’s first drive-through holiday light event, opens for its 23rd season on Thanksgiving night, November 26, 2015, at Newport News Park. The Park will be transformed by over 800,000 individual lights, creating animated holiday and fanciful scenes. Withover 300individual display pieces (70 animated), 43 arches, and three miles of rope lighting, Celebration in Lights enhances the natural beauty of the two-mile drive along Newport News Park’s main road. The 2nd annual Virginia Brazilian Festival is coming to City Center at Oyster Point, Saturday, September 19th from 12 noon - 7 PM where we'll celebrate Brazilian arts, culture, music and cuisine! Festival goers will have the opportunity to see Brazilian dance and drum performances, listen to live Brazilian music and learn to dance like a Samba pro in a dance workshop.
