On April 15, you can experience the Antebellum South on the grounds of Richard D. Lee’s mid-nineteenth century plantation home at the Lee Hall Plantation annual Easter Egg Hunt. This special event is great for the entire family to enjoy, with photo ops before and after the hunt with the Easter Bunny!
For gardening lovers, The Virginia Living Museum will host their annual Spring Native Plant Sale that will be held the weekend of April 22-23 and April 29-30. This event is free to the public and provides an incredible array of native plants that are easy to maintain and good for your garden.
With gardens in bloom, Newport News will be celebrating Historic Garden Week on April 26th. This tour will take guests through six neighborhoods with homes that will open their first floor to share their beautiful gardens, heirlooms and artwork with patrons. LEARN MORE
