We are located in the western part of the globe in the United States, next to the Atlantic Ocean.

Newport News, Virginia, is located on the East Coast of the United States, in the Mid-Atlantic region, three hours from Washington, D.C., and six hours from New York City.

Newport News is about an hour from Richmond and Virginia Beach, less than 30 minutes from Norfolk and Williamsburg, and minutes from Hampton, Jamestown, Yorktown, Smithfield and Gloucester. Interstate 64 runs the length of our city and connects with Route 17 to Yorktown and Gloucester or travel west on I-64 and you're in Williamsburg and Jamestown. To the east, I-64 connects with I-664 and the Monitor-Merrimac Memorial Bridge Tunnel. After driving through the tunnel, you'll see Suffolk, Chesapeake, and then Portsmouth. And before you know it, you're soaking up the sun in Virginia Beach!
